Rather than treating environment, culture, tourism, movement, and community as separate conversations, our work helps learners and partners see how these systems intersect in everyday life.
Each program pathway is designed to be accessible, adaptable, and rooted in real places — whether through after-school learning, outdoor gatherings, volunteer service, public education, or partner-led experiences.

Rooted Futures
Youth Environmental Learning
Rooted Futures begins its first afterschool programming at William Walker Recreation Center on September 11, 2026, through Amka Terra’s work connected to the NPU-P Environment Committee. Monthly Friday sessions will introduce students to ecology, wildlife, trees, insects, and stewardship through age-appropriate learning and partner-supported experiences.
Terra Trails
Outdoor Stewardship, Movement & Nature-Based Gatherings
Terra Trails is Amka Terra’s outdoor stewardship and movement pathway, connecting guided walks, hikes, e-bike outings, outdoor yoga, sound baths, and other nature-based experiences with environmental awareness and a deeper relationship with place.
Through partner-supported gatherings and place-based experiences, Terra Trails helps participants move through outdoor spaces with greater attention, curiosity, and care.
Terra Days.
Community Volunteer Stewardship
Terra Days is Amka Terra’s community volunteer stewardship pathway, created to bring people together through hands-on service opportunities that support trees, green spaces, local ecology, and community care.
This pathway may include group volunteer efforts, planting days, cleanup initiatives, partner service projects, and aligned opportunities with environmental and civic organizations.
Regenerative Tourism Education
Travel, Hospitality & Destination Stewardship
Regenerative Tourism Education helps learners, partners, and future travelers understand tourism as a system of relationships — between visitors, residents, culture, ecology, hospitality, preservation, and local economies.
This pathway explores how travel can move beyond consumption and become a pathway for deeper awareness, community benefit, and long-term destination wellbeing.

Rooted Futures
Amka Terra’s youth environmental learning work includes support for programming connected to the City of Atlanta’s NPU-P Environment Committee & William Walker Recreation Center Afterschool Program.

Terra Trails
Terra Trails is being developed as a low-barrier outdoor stewardship and movement program, with early gatherings expected to include walks, hikes, nature-connected experiences, environmental observation, yoga, sound baths, e-bike outings, and other partner-supported outdoor activities.

Terra Days
Terra Days launched its first community stewardship outing in August 2026, with Amka Terra volunteers joining Trees Atlanta for hands-on tree care at Freedom Park. The outing marked the beginning of a recurring volunteer stewardship pathway focused on practical service, community connection, and care for shared environments.

Regenerative Tourism Education
Amka Terra continues to develop regenerative tourism education as a public learning and thought-leadership pathway focused on travel, hospitality, destination stewardship, culture, ecology, and community responsibility.
